Get ready for the inaugural Medine trail!
Set in the Yemen nature reserve, this trail event offers the promise of a thrilling and unforgettable experience, whether you're an experienced runner or a beginner!
Choose from four different races:
5 km Fun Run / 13 km Short trail / 23 km Long trail / 65 km Ultra-trail
(The Ultra-trail will give you necessary points for the Grand Raid)
Registration opens on April 2. Mark your calendar and get ready for a unique challenge in a breath-taking setting that boasts rugged mountains, lush forests, savannah and local wildlife.

Races
Medine Fun Run (5km)
Youngsters under 11 years should be accompanied by adult.
A cool run for kids, and older ones who are looking for a morning hike, in the wonderful Yemen preserve. This is NOT a race but a run for enjoyment and to expose youngsters to exercise in nature. You must have a reasonable level of fitness as there is a climb, not long but steep in parts.
There is no timing system and NO COMPETITIVE medals will be given.
An easy circuit for youngsters and their parents or grandparents. But remember it is a TRAIL and that means a climb and a descent, on forest tracks. There may be a bit of mud and the uphill climb is steep in parts! Enjoy the feeling of space and Nature.
Obligatory Equipment
All participants MUST carry water.
Medine Short Trail (13km)
Be well prepared for a run in nature, with the usual challenges of rocks, roots and the wildlife of the chasse.
A challenging short trail with short, intense climbs and lots of running, across savannas and along mountain ridges. A great way to test your fitness and experience nature in its purest form.
An excellent circuit for trailers & cross athletes. Enjoy the feeling of space and Nature.
Obligatory Equipment
Carry water, make sure you are properly equipped for a trail run, with appropriate shoes, backpack and face cover against the sun. You must carry a functioning mobile phone.

Medine Long Trail (23km)
Although 23 kilometres might not seem far for the experienced trailer, make sure you are properly prepared and can cope with a good run on 100% nature tracks.

Obligatory Equipment
Carry water and plan your refreshment. Sun-screen if it is a sunny day is recommended. You must carry a mobile phone.

Medine Ultra-trail (65km)
Plan your refreshment as the trail can be hot. Plan your water & food taking into consideration the stations & profiles.
At the 42km ravito station, you are OBLIGED TO REGISTER YOUR PASAGE. Non-conformance will result in your EXCLUSION!
There are strict cutoff times:
At Refreshment Station (km 42) - 9 heures de course (13h00)
Finish (km 65) - 15 heures de course (19h00)
An ultratrail for experienced runners, in mountain terrain interspersed with lots of runnable savannah trails. Please note that some details like the refreshment points and cut-off times, will be finalised by mid-April. PLEASE CONSULT this site again before the race to confirm exact details. On account of the long route and in the case of disputed results, you may be asked for the gpx / Strava trace of your run, so please be adequately equipped. Thanks for your understanding.
A challenge for ultra-trailers, starting and finishing at the same place.

Obligatory Equipment
Charged headlamp of strong luminosity, survival blanket and telephone are obligatory. You must carry min. 1.5 litre water & food. Please carry a gps device (eg. mobile with Strava, Garmin gps etc) in case of result verification.
