The long La Ferme Trail race is ITRA-registered so all finishers will have their international ranking updated.

The 2023 trail route is slightly modified from previous years:

  1. after 700m along the berm, the path carries on straight, not cutting across the lake edge
  2. at 2.3km at the cattle paddocks., carry on STRAIGHT to the tar road where you turn RIGHT, run over teh bridge then turn RIGHT again down the path leading back to the lake road
  3. at the top of the Col Corps de Garde-St Pierre mountains, torn LEFT and go round canefields before heading back to the grotto
  4. at the bottom of the CEB pipe, continue until you can see the CEB station, then climb OVER the pipe, follow this new path

An easy trail, with two short climbs and descents, otherwise flat around lake.  Discover an great trail area mostly hidden from public view.

There are some changes to the route as shown in the map:

  1. At 700m continue on path, not turning along lake edge
  2. At 2.3km cattle paddock, continue straight to tar road, then turn right over bridge then continue straight past crematorium  to football field at around 5km, here turn right up Corps de Garde summit
  3. At the bottom CEB pylon of the descent off CdG, follow the zigzag path back down to the lake road
  4. The canefields pth has been shortened to go past the Avipro poultry farm, then right to the grotto
  5. At the bottom of the pipe descent continue until yo can see the CEB hydroelectric station and go OVER the pipe
  6. After descending St Pierre Mountain, you will go right to the canefields, where you will bear right (twice) and go past the crematorium, then 3rd turn into Bambous village
  7. Through Bambous village, follow the paint marks

A deceptively tough trail up two small mountains - Corps de Garde and St Pierre, over some rocky terrain with three flat stretches around the lake La Ferme and around Pierrefonds canefields.
