Details
These trails are the national trail running Championships. Both the short & the long races start & finish at Petrin.
The long trail is a challenging route, just as a Championship race should be!
The short trail is an easy route, new in 2024 to avoid the technical Brisee le Roi descent, so it is a fast race on an easy route.
On the LONG trail only, Brisee Le Roi path has a TECHNICAL descent which means trailers MUST have GOOD GRIP shoes. The three short, tricky sections have ropes for your security. There are guava trees all along the descent, which you can USE AS HANDHOLDS. TAKE CARE, GO SLOW IF YOU ARE UNSURE, but a really great path, in the deepest gorges. Appreciate the 3 cascades and views.
The Long Championnat race is ITRA-registered and so all finishers have their race recorded and their international ranking updated.
