The trail route changes slightly every year, depending on the lake level and vegetation on the mountains.  This year the route:

  1. at the start, it continues around the lake on the well-worn path, not cutting across the lake edge
  2. at mid-trail, near the bottom of the CEB pipe, you will climb OVER the pipe, do NOT run under it

An easy trail, with two short climbs and descents, otherwise flat around lake.  Some technical sections down the mountain. Discover an great trail area mostly hidden from public view.

La Ferme Trail (22km)

La Ferme Trail - Main image
Elevation: 1200mLeague: Long LeagueStart: 06:00RDV: 05:30Min Age: 18

Every year the route changes slightly, because of the lake level and the state of the vegetation and canefields. Note the following:

  1. At the start, the route continues on the well-used path, not cutting across the lake edge
  2. At around 15km, near the bottom of the CEB water-pipe, go OVER the pipe, not under it
  3. Follow carefully the stickers, after descending St Pierre Mountain, to make sure you follow the marked route, as there is dense vegetation here
  4. Through Bambous village, follow the paint marks

A deceptively tough trail up two small mountains - Corps de Garde and St Pierre, over some rocky terrain with three flat stretches around the lake La Ferme and around Pierrefonds canefields.
