ADM (Action for the Development of the Morne region) aims to alleviate poverty in south-west Mauritius. Its project Vision le Morne targets communities which are still struggling to get their fair share of development in Mauritius in terms of education, employment, basic infrastructure and general human well-being.

Ce parcours accessible à tous, en famille (enfants accompagnés à partir de 6 ans), entre amis, en solo, en couple…permet de découvrir en marchant ou en courant le magnifique chassé privé du Petit Morne. Il ouvre son éspace naturel exceptionnel ce jour là au profit d’une bonne cause : l’ONG Action Développement Le Morne. 100% du montant des inscriptions sont reversés à son projet pour le village..

Green Village
Associated with L'Embrasure, the nearby Green Village advocates sustainable development in Le Morne village and its surroundings. Green Village provides a space for eco-friendly activities with a special focus on permaculture, community projects and creative collaborations. This eco-village welcomes environmentally-friendly, solidarity, arts and culture activities, in an unrelenting drive to engineer change through raising public awareness of current issues involving society and ecology in order to ensure a healthier future for the younger generations.

Fun Run (4km)
By registering for this Fun Run, you are accepting full personal responsibility for your own security and that of the children you accompany, Running in Nature can be hazardous, so DO NOT register if you have any doubts about your health or security. The paths are sometimes rocky but easily walkable or runnable for a normally fit person.
Please note that all participants, including accompanying adults, must also register.
Children under 11 years old should be accompanied by an adult.. the minimum age of the adult being 18 years, but accompanied young children can take part. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians of all children to ensure an adequate condition of the child - REMEMBER children can be fragile, both physically & emotionally. REASSURANCE & SUPPORT are essential!
Note that 100% of the inscriptions received are given to the association ADM (Action Developpment Le Morne) for the benefit of the local community.

Make sure you are a fit condition to run, there are no particular difficulties on this beautiful trail, but it is 100% in Nature! Enjoy it!!
Départ du chassé de L'Embrasure, les premiers mille mètres en boucle dans le chassé du Petit Morne avec une montée graduelle dans le chassé pour atteindre les 280m; par la suite une montée plus soutenue, découvrant ainsi une sublime vue panoramique sur le « Morne Brabant » et ses environs, descente sur chemins de chassé et « casse-cou », pour une arrivée au point du départ au campement de Chassé de L’Embrasure.

Grand Maronnage 7:30 (20km)
Carry water. A water point provided at 11 km.
The race starts at the Domino Gate, about 10 minute walk from the parking & inscription site of L'Embrasure (where you will finish). You MUST go to L'Embrasure to do inscription BEFORE proceeding to the race start! The race goes through a hunting grounds savanna then climbs up the northern flank of Le Morne, to encircle the western side of the mountain under its sheer cliffs, then a descant to the sea, crossing the estuary and then up to Petit Morne, with some 10km of ups and downs in the chassé to finish at the campement L'Embrasure.
Départ au Gate du Domino, montée à travers le Savane et la Foret d’Araucaria pour rejoindre le sentier public à 300m d’altitude, puis une descente exclusive autour du Morne chargé d’histoire, rejoindre la mer (trempage assuré à la pointe d’ Amour) pour rejoindre le parcours du 10kms par la plage du Morne Village (Ravito donc à 10kms), Arrivée commune à L’Embrasure.
Your inscription includes a Rs 50 contribution for ADM & their project Vision le Morne.
